From now on, customers will not have to go to the broker’s office to get ID and password for online trading of shares. It is possible to apply for ID and password online from the TMS website.
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has made arrangements to register for online trading from Sunday. Accordingly, investors can fill the form from the TMS website of the broker they want to trade.
Chief Executive Officer of Nepse Chandra Singh Saud said that all the work can be done online and one does not have to go to the broker’s office. According to him, investors can also scan their signatures and upload them on the website. Although it is possible to apply online, some features are yet to be added to the system, brokers said.
Here’s how to apply:
- Open the TMS website of the broker of your choice
- Click on the register that appears on the home page
- Fill in the required details on each page
- Finally, click on Submit Application.
When applying in this way, you have to fill the required details in 6 pages. In the first number you have to fill in your personal details, in the second you have to fill in the address details, in the third, you have to fill in the bank details, in the fourth you have to fill in the product details, in the fifth, you have to fill in the Demat details and in the sixth, you have to upload the required documents.
After that, the information will be provided by mail and if the mail does not arrive, the investor has to call the broker.
